Backbone Radio - Sept. 9, 2012

September 9, 2012

Tune in Sunday night to KNUS AM 710 from 5 to 8 pm for Backbone Radio. Matt Dunn and Krista Kafer will hit the airwaves with fresh commentary on all things political and cultural.

We’ll have three great guests. Timothy Sandefur, of the Pacific Legal Foundation, will offer his unflattering take on Obamacare. We’ll talk with Linda Appel Lipsius, CEO of a new Colorado business – Teatulia which brings us the best in organic tea from Bangladesh. Love tea? Tune in.

And we’ll interview legend Doc Holliday. Yes, that’s right, the one and only Doc Holliday — part-time dentist, full-time rascal, friend of Wyatt Earp, participant in the Gunfight at the OK Corral, and presently permanent resident of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. We’ll find out what Doc’s been up to lately.

We’ll also dissect the Democratic National Convention, a week of celebration which included plentiful profit-bashing, no less than three votes against God, and a grande finale from a drastically downsized venue. All of which was inconveniently punctuated, the morning after, with another round of terrible job numbers.

Yes, friends, it was a week of ardent pandering, with victim-du-jour Sandra Fluke on hand in prime time and glowing words from the notorious womanizer-in-chief Bill Clinton. Krista isn’t buying the come-on line. Are other women willing to trade freedom for free stuff? Time will tell.

Don’t miss the hard hitting commentary and great bumper music. Tune in to 710 KNUS or 1460 KZNT Colorado Springs or online at from 5 to 8 PM. Your smart choice for Sunday night radio.
