The Oscars are tonight, we sample late Hollywood producer Paddy Chayefsky’s tough words during the 1978 Academy Awards about the abject politicization of the ceremony. Captain Kirk Widlund guest-hosting for Matt Dunn. We begin with former FBI agent John Guandolo reviewing the roles of Kamala Harris and Corey Booker in promoting the Jussie Smollett Hoax. Did their anti-lynching legislation have any effect on their rush to believe Smollett? Next, we visit with physicist Norman Rogers on the Green New Deal and the appointment of William Happer to the President’s newly-established commission on climate change. Why are liberals so totally triggered? Listener calls to end the hour. Music from Brian May, Bananarama, Johnny Cash, Guns N' Roses, Bad Religion and Toto.

Matt Dunn is off tonight, as Captain Kirk Widlund fills in. The destruction of leftist narratives continues unabated with the exposure of Jussie Smollett’s lies. A breakdown of the Robin Roberts interview and how it affected the police investigation into the case. Is it really only “just Jussie”? A rundown of hate crime hoaxes explores the many fakes of the last couple years. Does the phrase “increase in hate crime reports” really mean anything? Music from The Mamas & The Papas, The Alan Parsons Project, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Eat World, Dion and Fleetwood Mac.

Lara Logan of CBS voices concerns that media people have become hostile, one-sided "propagandists" in the Trump Era. Victor Davis Hanson describes the failed Deep State Coup as "the greatest scandal in American political history." Additional notes on the vile and lamentable FBI man Andrew McCabe. Andrew McCabe's World of Trouble. Disgraced former FBI Director McCabe goes on the 60 Minutes program to peddle his new book and attempt to save his own skin. In the process, McCabe admits to participating in the Deep State Coup -- confessing to opening investigations into President Trump and toying around with the 25th Amendment. Notably, his case hinges upon faux concerns that Trump may have been an "agent of Russia." McCabe reveals his embarrassing dependence upon the fraudulent garbage Steele Dossier, the pretext used by the "small cabal" of unelecteds to attempt to overturn the 2016 election. We sample related commentary from Devin Nunes and Dan Bongino, and consider the curious spat between co-conspirators McCabe and Rod Rosenstein. As we approach the ultimate SpyGate reckoning, we explain KGB John Brennan's slippery strategy of public shrieking. And by the way -- why is former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley now hanging around with Brennan? Member of the cabal? Meanwhile, President Trump declares a National Emergency at the southern border. We expect Trump will ultimately win this battle in the courts, and we review the ways in which this approach marks an incremental victory for MAGA 2020 on border security. We sample Trump Senior Advisor Stephen Miller's high octane debate with Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Why does Wallace harbor such strange passions for the open border? Pure Establishment Decadence. Alexander Hamilton's Federalist #70. Captain Kirk takes on CNN's S.E. Cupp. With Listener Calls & Music via Billy Swan, the Alexandrov Ensemble and Astrid of Norway. Sacred Song from Gillian Welch.

The Jussie Smollett Hoax. A Visit with Jennifer Kerns of The Daily Caller, whose recent essay on Smollett has been aggressively censored by both Facebook and Instagram. Are social media leftists suggesting their "community standards" do not allow the exposure of fake hate crimes? Could Smollett be a Modern Tawana Brawley? Has Al Sharpton learned much of anything since 1987? Unfortunately, MSM tactics never seem to change, and "MAGA Country" shouldn't be expecting apologies anytime soon -- much less a formal correction to the hoax. We marvel at CNN commentary from Liz Plank which finds a way to blame President Trump for Smollett's malfeasance. Seizing and Pouncing. Meanwhile, we review omnipresent challenges to "mental hygiene" in America and the critical importance of seeing through The Fake Matrix. How much sympathy for those afflicted with TDS delusions? Plus, Rep. John Ratcliffe details the vast emptiness of Russian Collusion, Adam Schiff and FBI McCabe in a conversation with Maria Bartiromo. Also, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez helps spike Amazon's potential expansion into Long Island. Will America come to appreciate the ways of Free Range AOC? We think not, as she moves a tad to the left of Che Guevara. Viva La Revolucion. Sweet Sounds of the Seventies. With Listener Calls & Music via Depeche Mode, U2 and Jefferson Starship.

Opening Monologues. Delusional MSM moves from Hoax to Hoax to Hoax. Their latest installment, regarding claims that actor Jussie Smollett was assaulted by "MAGA Country" Trump supporters, is evaporating in real time. Local Chicago media now reports that Smollett himself orchestrated the alleged hate crime, going so far as to pay two Nigerian nationals to help along the pre-rehearsed hoax. Fake Noose? The Crafty Beaver. Meanwhile, the Russian Collusion narrative -- the biggest MSM hoax of them all -- undergoes additional unraveling. But will the livestock even notice? Disgraced FBI McCabe confesses to ordering investigations into Trump, and the Senate Intelligence Committee admits they have found zero evidence of conspiracy. Will Goose Egg Mueller even bother to issue a final report? So much depends upon Mueller's new boss, the newly-confirmed Attorney General William Barr. Man or Mouse? Barr is certainly inheriting a "hot mess" at the DOJ. Can he offer the much-needed infusion of credibility? Plus, on Valentine's Day, a disoriented Speaker Pelosi wishes everyone a "Happy Thanksgiving." Gobble, Gobble. Also, we ask, if AOC actually eliminates air travel within the next ten years, will there still be any "flyover country" in America? With Listener Calls & Music via Weezer, Roy Orbison, Bono and Rockabilly Ray Smith.

They're Coming for the Cows. The Democrats of the "Green New Deal" pledge to eliminate air travel, cars and cows within the next ten years. While also guaranteeing government jobs for all Americans. We marvel at the environmental fanaticism -- and total incompetence -- now on display from Alexandria Ocasio Cortez. NBC's Chuck Todd gets sarcastic, and most cows remain skeptical. Meanwhile, President Trump Stands Up to Socialism. Draws damning portrait of the failed state of Venezuela, then vows in his well-received SOTU that "America will never be a socialist country." Our notes on the genius of the American Founding, which has long-forestalled the totalitarian collectivization of our republic. Meanwhile, we chronicle major new developments in SpyGate. Photographs emerge of Democrat Adam Schiff consorting with Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS in Aspen. Senator Richard Burr admits there is "no evidence" of Russian collusion. Lou Dobbs blasts Paul Ryan's inexcusable "betrayal" of President Trump. Reporter John Solomon claims "real accountability" is coming soon to SpyGate, and that he knows for sure Trump will soon 'declassify' all the documents. Solomon also outlines Mueller's own checkered history of FISA Abuse, and we ponder potential "leverage" over Mueller vis-a-vis the DOJ's re-opening of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation. Plus, a Florida politician resigns over accusations of "licking men's faces" -- but still no Democratic resignations in Virginia. Also, a mountain lion "pounces" on a Colorado trail runner. With Listener Calls & Music via Eros Ramazzotti, Al Green, Louane, Eagles, George Harrison and Norman Greenbaum.
